Our Peer Mediators aim to ensure that playtimes run smoothly, that conflicts are resolved as soon as possible, and that every child has a friend to play with.  The Peer Mediators can be spotted on the playground by the rainbow lanyards they wear, and the other children know that they are there to help them.

Our Peer Mediators have been trained on how to resolve arguments between two children, and follow a series of questions to identify the problem and come to a mutual agreement of what will happen next.  They are also around to help children find someone to play with, or just to listen to anyone who might be feeling upset or are having a bad day.
