Our Early Years at Lawefield Primary consists of a Nursery Class and two Reception classes, which provide safe, secure and stimulating indoor and outdoor environments where we spend the majority of our day playing and learning. Play is central to our time in Nursery with children also taking part in short, whole class carpet sessions and small group activities.
Within Nursery we have a class teacher and experienced Nursery Nurses who offer a friendly and nurturing environment where we ignite children’s natural curiosity and love of learning by following the interests of the children while also teaching key knowledge and skills.
Through quality interactions we aim to instill lifelong attributes including resilience, perseverance, cooperation, self- regulation, conflict resolution and the ability to build relationships to become successful members of the school community and wider society.
We accept children from the term after they turn three. Children attend nursery in either a morning (8:30am - 11:30am) or afternoon place (12.30pm - 3.30pm). If you would like any more information please phone 01924 291973 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
