The Green Guardians love looking after our school garden and helping our school take care of the environment.
We grow our plants from seeds or bulbs allowing children to experience the life cycle of a plant first hand.
The children have fun doing all sorts of activities from planting seeds, weeding, finding mini-beasts, making houses for the wildlife and watering the garden.
Planting seeds and learning about what they need to grow has helped teach the children about responsibility.
We are looking forward to many more hours of planning, planting, growing and building some great outdoor spaces so we can fulfil
our outdoor learning potential and create a beautiful spot in our gardening area of the school.

We also have recently been awarded the RHS Campaign for School Gardening Level 1, we are hoping to achieve Level 2 in the next few weeks.
