Behaviour

At Lawefield Primary School we pride ourselves on the excellent behaviour of our pupils. The school aims to help each child to develop an appreciation of the needs and abilities of others.  In September 2006, the school introduced the SEAL programme which stands for Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning.  This is a comprehensive scheme to teach children values and respect for others and which encourages pupils to behave in a mature and considerate way to others. There is also a traffic light system in school to reward children who behave consistently well throughout the course of the week and this leads to the reward of ‘Golden Time’ on a Friday afternoon.
